The Holocaust I have heard that there has been some controversy over whether or not to include the study of the Holocaust in our English I curriculum. I think it is vitally important to study the Holocaust. After evaluating the positive and negative aspects, I find it compelling that the Holocaust is included in our curriculum. To begin with, you need to know what happened in the past so history will not repeat itself. Second, although equally important, I find it a good fact to understand what the Holocaust was. Finally, I maintain that it is very important to understand racial injustice, past and present.
