Odysseus? A Hero? Different people have different perceptions and ideas of what a true hero is. Many people would agree with me when I say that Odysseus was not a hero. His actions and characteristics show that he was far from being a hero. A hero is someone who is loyal and cares about protecting and leading others by making wise decisions. Odysseus was not a hero because made bad decisions, he endangered his men, and he cared too much about killing.
