Changing Undesirable Behaviors The purpose of this paper was to establish a baseline of an undesirable behavior and develop a modification program to help reduce or eliminate the behavior. Various motivations and cues were observed to help devise a training agenda more effectively. METHOD The subject for this project was an indoor cat who felt the need to escape from the owners house every time a door was opened. Observations were made of the subject for a period of four days.
