Golf and its Environment Golf courses, by most standards, are good for the environment; but you always have those people that say they aren’t. If a golf course were bad for the environment then there would be pollution, noise, destruction of the natural resources, and devastation of animal habitat. A golf course has none of those characteristics. Although a golf course has mowers and carts there are only good things that the golf course can do for the environment. A golf course corrects itself because of the trees, grass and other forms of plant life that help break down pollution. As for noi
